Privacy Policy

The Northern Daisy is a small, one-person studio. I am not a tech company, I do not run ads, and I do not sell your data. This policy explains what I collect, why, and who else is involved in getting your order to your door.

What I Collect

When you place an order, I receive your name, email address, and shipping address through Stripe (my payment processor). I use that same information in Pirate Ship to create your shipping label and send you a tracking notification through USPS.

I do not store your credit card number. Stripe handles all payment processing directly, and they are PCI compliant, meaning your financial data is protected by industry-standard security.

Why I Collect It

Your information is used for three things:

1. Processing your order
2. Shipping your purchase
3. Communicating with you about your order (confirmation, tracking, or if there is an issue)

That is the full list. No marketing emails, no retargeting, no data sharing.

Who Has Access

• Me (Michelle, The Northern Daisy): your name, email, and shipping address for order fulfillment
• Stripe: your payment details, name, and email as the payment processor
• Pirate Ship / USPS: your shipping address and email for label creation and tracking notifications

No one else. Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies

This website is hosted on Vercel, which may place basic functionality cookies to keep the site running smoothly. I also use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site: which pages are viewed and general traffic patterns. Google Analytics may use cookies, and that data is processed according to Google's privacy policies.

For more on how Google handles this data, see Google's Privacy Policy. If you prefer not to be tracked, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. I do not use Facebook Pixel, ad retargeting pixels, or other third-party advertising tools.

How Your Data Is Protected

Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe, which maintains PCI DSS compliance. I access order details through Stripe's secure dashboard. Shipping information is entered into Pirate Ship's secure platform for label generation only.

Changes to This Policy

I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, the "last updated" date at the top will change. For any significant changes, I will note them here.
